How to stop getting Emails from Youtube
Being up to date on YouTube is a good thing. But the email notifications can be annoying, especially when you upload your own videos and receive corresponding interactions from viewers. Therefore, we would like to show how to stop getting emails from Youtube or at least adjust it so that you are only informed about the most necessary items. This way it is easy to determine what is important and what is not. Otherwise, it can quickly become quite tight with a greater success on Youtube in the email inbox, if you are informed for every comment or every subscription. In general, however, this is of course a matter of taste. Especially in the beginning, you are certainly happy about every subscription, so that it could only become annoying over time. We recommend that you take a look at the settings so that you know what options are available to you.
How to stop Youtube Emails? We show you how to do it:
We speak from experience. With almost 100 emails a day due to new comments or new subscribers, that was exactly the reason why we are writing this post here. We were happy to turn off the Youtube email notification and limit ourselves only to really security relevant messages. Everything else you find out anyway the next time you log in, so now you won’t be distracted by emails.
- Go to Youtube
- Go to your avatar and the cogwheel (Youtube settings) on the top right.
- Click on notifications
- At the bottom you will find the permissions of Youtube to send you messages
- Here you can set exactly what Youtube is allowed to send you messages about in the future. You can also just turn it off completely
- Take a little time and set your email preferences individually
Actually quite simple? Now your inbox will no longer be bombarded with every email from Youtube! It may also be worthwhile to check your settings from time to time. Since Youtube is constantly working on its own user interface, there may be changes or your old settings may simply be deleted. So better stay up to date and make sure your Youtube email notification stays deactivated! And now have fun on Youtube!
