Who doesn’t want to enjoy their favorite streamer on their smartphone in bed or on the couch in the evening? Of course, it’s annoying when the screen is so bright that it burns your eyes. Fortunately, you can turn on a dark mode in the Twitch app and thus watch comfortably even in the dark. This only requires a small setting, which can be in a different place depending on the operating system.

Generally, the setting is not difficult to find on all devices. However, they are not exactly in the same place, so it can get confusing when an Anrdoid user tries to explain how to set the dark mode on the iPhone. Step-by-step instructions:

How to set Twitch Dark Mode on Android:

  • Launch the Twitch app
  • Tap on your profile picture in the top left corner
  • Go to the “Account Settings”
  • Open the item “Preferences” and flip the switch at “Enable dark mode”

How to set Twitch Dark Mode on iOS:

  • Launch the Twitch app
  • Tap on your profile picture in the upper left corner
  • Go to the item “Appearance”
  • Toggle the switch at “Dark Design”
  • Done!
