Steam Trade URL – How to find it
Trading has been an interesting way to get items or credits in Steam for a few years now. This is no longer limited to the marketplace itself, because trading on third-party sites is also possible. Since you can only trade with friends and so you don’t have to add strangers to your own list, the Steam Trade URL was introduced, with which even a stranger can quickly send you a trade offer. However, the Trade URL is a bit hidden in Steam, so we want to show you how to find it and what other features are available.
Where can I find my Steam Trade URL?
Actually, it’s only a few clicks, but Steam has a very convoluted menu navigation. Therefore, we will show you the exact way in a few steps. But first we would like to clear up a possible misunderstanding. This is not your profile URL at Steam (also called Steam ID). We have already explained how you can find it and what it is useful for in another article.
- Launch Steam
- Click on your profile name and “Inventory” in the upper right corner
- Click on the “Trade Offers” button on the right
- Switch to the tab “Who can send me trade offers?”
- At the bottom you will find your Steam trade URL
- You can also create a new URL at this point
With a few steps you can get your Trade URL. In some cases, it may be worthwhile to create a new one. For example, if an old trading partner continues to send you unwanted requests. With this you are well prepared for trading on Steam and we wish you good luck!
