Steam Screenshot Folder / Where to find the Steam screenshots?
You have certainly already taken one or the other screenshot. But often the question arises, where is the Steam Screenshot Folder actually located? This varies a bit depending on the number of hard drives and the layout, but we have a practical solution for you that will get you there quickly in any case. And once you’ve taken the direct route, you’ll see from the file path how time-consuming the “normal” way would be. That’s why we always recommend the direct way via Steam.
How can you actually take a screenshot in Steam?
This is also quite simple. By default, this function is on the F12 key. However, you can easily change this in the Steam menu to a key that you prefer. We’ll explain exactly how this works in this article. You’ll be up to date in just a few seconds.
- Open Steam
- Click on the Library tab
- Select the game in which you took the screenshot
- On the right side, under the achievements, you will find the “Screenshots” item
- Click on “Manage my screenshots”
- Select “Show on disk”
Actually not difficult, right? If the whole thing is still too complicated for you, we’ll show you in another post how you can easily change the Steam screenshot folder and place it where you want. We wish you a lot of fun with the right settings and a lot of success in the future with your photo galleries in Steam!
