Delete locked Files with Unlocker
Windows sometimes stops you from deleting files. Often this is justified, but sometimes the system is a little behind and thinks, for example, that applications still use the files, although they are long closed. If you want to delete locked files, you need an additional tool. Unlocker provides the appropriate functions and allows you to delete locked data in Windows 10 or Windows 7 with just a few clicks. It is very easy to use, since the software does not have to be opened separately, but fits very well into your own workflow.
How to work with Unlocker if you want to delete locked files in Windows?
The software remains in the background until you need it, but is then directly there where you need it. If you want to know how to delete locked files in Windows 10, you usually right-click on them and select the delete function in the context menu. Unlocker can now be found in the same menu, so there is a second function for deleting files, but it makes short work of the known hurdle.
- First, download and install the Unlocker program (beware, the site does contain malware.). Download only what is necessary, no extra programs!)
- Now right click on the file you want to delete and click on Delete.
- The program will delete the locked file even if it is opened elsewhere
- If the file is open elsewhere, it will not work from now on
No matter if Windows 7, 8 or 10 – with Unlocker you can delete the desired files. However, you should be well informed in advance whether this can have an impact on the system, because the lock of Windows can of course also have its justification. As long as the files are not system files, but your own files, there should be no problem. We wish you good luck with your work!
