Netflix Change Payment Method
Netflix offers you different ways to pay your monthly subscription. Normally, you choose the right payment method when you register and are happy with it for a long time. But how is it possible on Netflix to change the payment method, for example, if you want to switch from direct debit to Paypal or if you have to deposit a new credit card? The function is not really hidden, but still not always easy to find. Therefore, in this article we will show you which steps to take and what else you might need to know.
Attention! Direct debit overwrites all other payment methods:
There are two important scenarios: Either you want to switch from direct debit to something else, or you want to switch from another payment method to direct debit. Direct debit seems to be the big favorite on Netflix. That’s because when you switch to direct debit, all other payment methods are deleted. If you switch away from direct debit, it will be deleted automatically. When you switch from credit card to Paypal, however, this does not happen. We just wanted to let you know about this special feature, because this way you can avoid entering your data unnecessarily often.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Go to Netflix
- Log in to a profile
- Click on your profile picture in the top right corner and select “Account”
- Select “Manage payment information” on the right
- You will now find all stored payment methods. With “Add payment method” you can add more
- If there are already several, you can also remove them if necessary
- Select “Set as preferred payment method” for a payment method if you want to pay with diéser in the future
- Done!
