How to block anonymous calls on iPhone

In one of the last posts we have already shown how to block numbers on iPhone. But what if the number is suppressed? Unknown numbers are notoriously difficult to enter. But the iPhone has a function to mute all unknown callers. In other words, anonymous calls can be blocked and your iPhone finally gets some peace and quiet. However, you will still be able to hear when someone tries to call you, without it being intrusive. This way you won’t miss any important messages just because someone called you anonymously.

Block anonymous calls on iPhone – How do I get important messages?

Anyone who calls you with an anonymous number is not completely locked out. The caller will be forwarded to your voicemail. Therefore, if there is a really urgent need for action, you will find a message on the voicemail and get back to you accordingly. Therefore, you can block anonymous calls without fear of missing something very important.

Step-by-step instructions:

  • Go to the settings on your iPhone
  • Select “Phone”
  • Scroll down to the “Silence unknown callers” option
  • Activate the setting by flipping the switch
  • Done!

Unfortunately, this function is only available since iOS version 13. It is not possible in advance in this way. Nevertheless, a few tricks can be used to remedy the situation. We’ll explain exactly how to do that in another tutorial. We hope that this article has helped you. Send it to your friends, if they have asked themselves the same question. And now, have fun with your iPhone!
