How to change Chrome background
Your own browser is like any room you spend a long time in. You have to feel comfortable there. If you want to set yourself up accordingly, you can change the design in Chrome and adapt it to your own taste. There are many different solutions available here, some of which come from Google Chrome itself and some from private providers. In this article, we would like to show you how you can change your background in Chrome, so that surfing will be even more fun in the future.
Design change does not mean dark mode:
Although Google Chrome also offers dark designs, this is not a real dark mode. Some areas are still displayed brightly. In another tutorial we have already shown how to enable dark mode in Chrome. So if you explicitly want dark mode, you should read that post. But even far from Dark Mode, there are many exciting dark themes with visual peculiarities. A visit to the Chrome Web Store can be worthwhile in any case.
- Launch Google Chrome
- Click on the three dots and “Settings” in the upper right corner
- Select the tab “Appearance” on the left and “Design” in the middle
- In the Chrome Web Store you can now choose between many themes
- If you like a design, click on it
- Now click on “Add” in the upper right corner
- The design will be added and applied directly
Changing the background in Chrome is thus possible in a few steps and often very exciting thanks to the large selection. We chose a dark, edgy look with some red stripes (which you can see in our video). Something like this is of course a matter of taste, but there should be something for you as well. So try it out in any case!
