Chrome clear form autofill
Has someone else been on your computer and ordered a pizza, for example, or entered their data somewhere? Then it can happen that in the future his data will be suggested again and again in some forms. This is especially annoying, because there will rarely be a case where you still need them. Therefore, we would like to show you how to clear form data in Chrome. This way, you can remove these entries and collect only relevant data in the future. This will also make your ordering processes more pleasant and faster. Thus, this step can be worthwhile from time to time to remove inappropriate data from the system.
Keep the right data by entering the correct time period:
Google Chrome allows you to delete form data. This is good, but you don’t want to delete your own data. There is a solution for that. Since you can enter a time period in which all relevant data should be removed, you can make sure that old data remains while new data is deleted. This selection is practical, so that really relevant form data does not have to be typed in again.
- Open Chrome
- Click on the three dots in the upper right corner
- Under “More tools” select “Clear browsing data”
- Switch to the “Advanced” tab
- Check the box “Autofill form data”
- Select a suitable time period at the top
- Click on “Delete data”
Actually a very easy procedure. However, we also noticed that the division of the browser data into “Basic” and “Advanced” leads to the fact that the form data is often overlooked. Therefore, it was important to us to address this issue so that you can also find the desired functions. We would be happy to receive your feedback on this tutorial on Youtube.
