Epic Games has probably created the biggest hit of the last few years with Fortnite. The game is played by young and old and therefore knows no social boundaries. But what do you do if you can’t get any further in the Fortnite loading screen? Or Fortnite is not even launching? There are many reasons why the Epic Games Launcher might not work at the moment. Therefore, in this post, we are going to highlight three important tips that you could use to fix the Fortnite problems. Please note that such a glitch can also occur from time to time due to the Fortnite servers. However, if you are sure that the problem lies with your computer, then go through the tips one by one and, if in doubt, also visit the other articles that we have written on this topic for even more information. Fortnite is not launching? Just don’t lose your nerves and stay calm:

We know how annoying it can be when you just want to play a game, but you can’t due to an error. The important thing is to stay calm. With almost a dozen different tips, we have already been able to help several thousand players. Just go through the tutorials one by one. Since Fortnite on PC does not run in such a closed system as the Playstation or Xbox, there can be many reasons to check one after the other. If you freak out here, you’ll lose more time and probably won’t find the solution. So: keep calm!

Step-by-step instructions:

Solution 1:

  • First, launch the Epic Games Launcher and select Fortnite
  • Click on the gear next to “Launch” and then also Verify. Now it will be checked if any files are missing

Solution 2:

  • Go to Start -> Computer -> your local disk (e.g. C:) -> Program (x84) -> Epic Games -> DirectXredist and use the “DXSETUP.exe” to bring DirectX to the necessary current state

Solution 3:

  • Go to Start -> Computer -> your local disk (e.g. C:) -> Program Files -> Epic Games -> Fortnite -> FortniteGame -> Binaries -> Wind64 -> BattlEye and execute the file “Uninstall_BattlEye”. Perform the uninstallation and now repeat tip 1
