Firefox Dark Mode

Firefox dark mode

At daytime, the light mode in Firefox is all well and good. But especially in the evening hours or in low light, it can be useful to activate the dark mode in Firefox. This way your eyes are relieved and you don’t have a fast contrast change when opening new tabs. For this reason, we show you how you can turn on the dark mode in Firefox. The corresponding functions are already available in the browser.

Dark Mode or other themes in Firefox:

The Dark Theme is just one way to customize Firefox. Mozilla offers various themes so that the browser can shine in different colors. Thus, there should be something for everyone. For example, we also found the theme “Alpenglow” not so bad, because it represents a refreshment to the simple, bright theme with strong colors. But since tastes are different here, we leave the decision to you, of course!

Step-by-step instructions:

  • Open Firefox
  • Click on the three bars in the upper right corner
  • Select “Add-ons and Themes
  • Change to the tab “Themes” on the left side
  • Search for the theme “Dark” and click on “Activate”
  • Done!

As you can see, it’s only a few clicks to the right theme, no matter if you prefer a dark theme in Firefox or something more colorful. With this you are definitely prepared for the evening hours!
